Food for thoughts Cafe – A Simple and Cosy places to be..

Was shopping around that area where i chance upon this Cafe that is not that obvious. I have hear alot of comment and reviews about it. So i decided to have my afternoon coffee there.

Its a simply layout. Feels homely but could tell that its alot of Ikea furniture being use. Was sad that because of the time i went in, kitchen was closed till 5.30pm so i couldnt try the other main dish. I just order a cup of Mocha and the recommended Red Velvet cake. Serving portion is big and suprisingly it was nice.

Conclusion. I will go back again with my friends. I also heard christian worship music being played. I wonder if the owner is a believer..

Marley And Me (2009)

Initially i wasn’t expecting much of the show. Thought it will be like any ordinary family dog show. But i was half wrong. The strong contrast between the problems and tensions caused by his neuroses and behavior, and the undying devotion, love and trust shown towards the human family as they themselves have children and grow up to accept him for what he is, and their grief when he finally dies in old age, form the backdrop for the biographical material of the story. I must say it helps to reflect on our personal walk of life. Apparently i was pondering about it after the show.

The 4th figurine collection from Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha. I am collecting too much of this already. Just cancel the order i had for Wind of Blessing Ziwei. As expected from ALTER. Craftmanship is excellent. Cant wait for Subaru to match with her. I can imagine these two will make a good team if place together.

Some background on Belldandy:

Belldandy(ベルダンディー -,Berudandī?) is a character in the popular manga Oh My Goddess! (OMG) and in the anime of the same name. She was created by Kosuke Fujishima as one of three Goddesses who come to Earth to reside with Keiichi Morisato, and she serves as his love interest. She is depicted as a beautiful and powerful young woman, with strong nurturing tendencies, a trusting and innocent character, and an extremely kind heart. Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha Takamachi Prototype – ALter & Volks’

Found this on the web from DannyChoo site and SgCafe. All having the same information on this prototype of Takamachi Nanoha StrikerS figure. Maker is still unknow and most likely to be Alter.

It is so far the best Nanoha i have seen in among the various makers like Figma etc.

Another maker Volks’ has come out with 3 of the main character in Nanoha. Its Volks Online Store Exclusives. Heard that public reservations for all of them only opens in March 2009 onwards.  I wonder if its only for Japan market only. You can find more information here if you can read japs..

Nanoha is expected in May 09, Fate in July 09 and Hayate in June 09. And all will be retailing at 8,329 yen++. I think so..

Which one will i buy eventually??? Alter or Volks’… Or maybe just ignore it.

Finally the ALTER maker have released their version. Cant wait for Subaru Nakajima to be out in stores in SG..I wonder how much it will be since Teana Lanster is about S$100.00. I guess should have to wait for 6mth ar least.
